Edward always loved being a nurse but decided to pursue his nurse practitioner degree to play a more active role in his patient care outcomes. "I chose family practice because it exposes me to a variety of experiences and people," he says.
He enjoys helping patients maintain good health by listening to their issues. "I enjoy teaching and educating about preventative measures tailored to each specific person. This makes the treatment patient-centered and allows the patient to be an active participant in their healthcare."
Edward enjoys building relationships with his patients. "First impressions are golden, and time will take care of the rest. Being a good listener goes a long way in this profession," he adds.
Edward graduated from the University of Texas Arlington with a Master of Science degree in Nursing. He enjoys supporting the American Cancer Society via its "Relay for Life" events. Edward has lived in Ellis County since 2004 and is married with two children. In his off time, he enjoys cooking and studying German.

Doctor Jones is a down to earth person. He explained everything I had going on, medically, in a straight no nonsense manner. He started addressing my few medical issues and followed up to get my health done right. I appreciate how you handled our first office visit.

Dr. Edward Jones he is a sweet man he take time to example to you was your medicine is for he do not rush with you he asked you is there anything you might need help with and when it come to getting paper work done it don't take him and his staff long to fill it out and send it back to the place it need to go I love the way he care about his patients I will recommend him to all my family and friends that need a doctor.

For my 1st new patient interaction he did an amazing job! He explained things so I could understand, listened to my questions and concerns, also came up with a game plan for my health problems. I highly recommend him.
